At the southern tip of the Valley of Endon, where the embrace of gentle temperate slopes meets the ridges of the mountains, is Southendia. The duchy of the south is harsher in climate than the others, closer to the fortresses of the dwarves and giants, and yet not unlacking the brutal beauty of nature.
